Temperature IS a feeling!

“What does the temperature feels like today?” – asked nobody to nobody ever.

When I want to know how cold it is outside, why does my weather app tell me it’s -8, but it feels like -16? What kind of aspirational bullsh!t is that?

Does my app want me to feel better about the sh!tty weather? Is it trying to trick me into buying a warmer jacket?

With the “wind chill”? Isn’t that part of the temperature? When did we separate them?

We don’t say with the “sun warmth” in the summer. We get one temperature, like nature intended.

So why do I get the temperature and a (always colder) “feels like” temperature, the real temperature? Can’t you just tell me the truth about how cold it feels outside?

Because temperature is a feeling, that’s what you’re measuring.

I can’t be the only one who hates this charade perpetrated by The Weather Network (I can only assume they are the heads of this shady cabal of liars).

Please just tell me one temperature, the real temperature.

Please just tell me what the temperature feels like when I ask. I beg you.
